I am delighted to confirm that i will be playing the role of TV's outrageous gay icon 'Billy Simpson' alongside Jim Davidson, Dave Lee, Rachael Barrington, Matt Blaize and Vicky Hughes in a brand new comedy play 'Stand Up And Be Counted'.
Written & Directed by Jim Davidson, Stand Up And Be Counted is a hysterical and hard hitting look into the world of stand up comedy, as old school Eddie Pierce (Jim Davidson) faces up to the cream of new comedians including Earl T Laurence (Matt Blaize) who is politically correct, brilliant...and black!
STAND UP...and be counted gives you a ringside seat as gay icon Billy Simpson (thats me!!) and TV's newest talent Ellie Jayne (Rachael Barrington) share a dressing room with Britain's most controversial comedian Eddie Pierce.
The pull no punches play, is full of drama and comedy and provides you with a look inside the minds of these troubled comedians!
Stand Up And Be Counted goes out on a full UK tour from March 2011. The play runs for a week at each venue, playing in locations including Dartford, Glasgow, Dunfermline, Croydon, Swansea and Southampton. Tickets for Southampton's Mayflower Theatre 7th-12th March are now on sale.

'SLEEPING BEAUTY'
I am delighted to officially announce that i will be returning for a third year this christmas playing the role of 'Merlin' in 'Sleeping Beauty' at The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford.
With an all star cast, including Boyzone's very own SHANE LYNCH as Prince Charming and Cbeebies’ Sarah-Jane Honeywell as Belle. I am also delighted that 2 very close friends of mine from the past 2 panto's at Guildford will also be returning this year, Eagle Radio’s Peter Gordon will be pulling the laughs in once again as King Gordon and the legendary Royce Mills is also back as Nurse Nellie. Sleeping Beauty is full of the very best songs, dance and laughter with colourful costumes and sparkling scenery.
